Services provided for these projects included:
Billerica, Lancaster, Oxford – Sustain 2050 was involved in identifying sites for development, negotiating land leases, managing/coordinating the State/Town permitting process, identifying off-takers for selling net metering credits; introducing the developer to investors/buyers; negotiating of payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) Agreements; and coordination with landowners, Towns, off-takers, consultants, investors/buyers.
Dighton – The services provided include the development of a project execution plan (budgets/timelines etc.); selection/management of consultants for permitting, interconnection, and system design; and coordination of the Town permitting process.
Williamsburg, Goshen, Westport (2 projects) – Sustain 2050 was involved in project origination; site screening and assessment; negotiation of an LOI/Option to Lease or Option to Purchase Agreements including solar access, vehicular access, and transmission easement Agreements; negotiations of PILOT Agreements. Off takers for all these projects will be private & public entities that qualify under the MA community shared solar program.
Amesbury – Sustain 2050 was involved in coordination with the landowner including negotiation of an LOI/Lease Agreement; local/State permitting support; PILOT Agreement negotiations; and securing an off-taker for selling the net metering credits generated from the project.
Shutesbury – Sustain 2050 was involved in coordination with the landowner including negotiation of the Lease Agreement; local/state permitting support; and securing low/moderate-income housing authority off-takers.
Sandwich – The services provided included an introduction to several investors/buyers and evaluation of their offers based on reimbursement of project costs/development fee, lease rate and term, financing contingencies, track record, and ability to close. After the investor/buyer was selected, also provided assistance to the developer in getting to the closing.
Northbridge (2 projects); Blandford; Millbury – Sustain 2050 were involved in identifying and screening sites, negotiating LOI’s and Purchase/Lease Agreements; submitting interconnection applications to the utility; local permitting coordination/support; and PILOT negotiations.
