Rayomand (Rayo) Bhumgara, Founder and President

Rayo formed the company in 2009 and started with consulting private and public sector clients on energy management solutions and economic development. Since the company’s founding, the primary business has been solar energy development, focused on origination and development of distributed generation projects. Through partnerships with investors/developers, landowners/brokers, and consultants/engineers, the company has been involved in the development of over 100 projects that are operational or under development, comprising over 400 MWs of generation capacity, across 12 states (MA, ME, VA, NH, NM, OH, MI, IL, MN, CA, PA, NY). The company plans to continue growing its development pipeline in existing and new markets across the US. Prior to founding Sustainable Strategies 2050, Rayo worked for 3 national consulting/engineering firms over 20 years involved in the energy, real estate, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.

Kevin Conroy, Project Developer

Kevin joined the Sustainable Strategies 2050 development team in 2022. He now oversees the SS2050 development team and also continues to grow Sustain 2050’s solar energy project pipeline, with a specific focus on the Midwestern States. Kevin has over 6 years of experience consulting for electric utilities and independent power producers throughout the US. Kevin has consulted on the development of over 150 MW of solar and wind projects; originated and developed over 60 MW of distributed solar projects; and as project manager, has been responsible for overseeing utility design, construction, and interconnection of over 500 MW of solar, storage, and hydro projects.

Rob Wolfe, Project Developer

Rob joined the Sustainable Strategies 2050 development team in 2023. He is actively involved in growing Sustain 2050’s solar energy project pipeline, with specific focus on the Midwestern and Northeastern States. Rob has over 8 years of experience working for an Ohio based retail energy provider where he developed over $250 million of C&I solar projects as well as over $50 million of biogas projects. Rob has guided the acquisition of more than 90 pre-NTP projects across the country and has been directly responsible for all stages of project development. Rob’s experience also includes overseeing the successful completion of construction for these projects as well as leading the sale of these assets to a network of investors.
